1. What we collect

We collect the minimum necessary to run the service:

• An anonymous device identifier (randomly generated, not tied to you).
• Encrypted session content (messages, exercise logs) — encrypted on your device before transmission.
• Optional recovery email, if you choose to provide one.
• De-identified usage metrics (e.g., feature popularity) for product improvement.

2. What we do NOT collect

• Your real name, address, or date of birth.
• Third-party advertising identifiers.
• Browsing history outside Groundify.
• Contact lists or social graph.

3. How we use your data

• To deliver and improve the coaching and grounding experience.
• To notify you of important safety or service updates.
• To analyse aggregate trends (never individual content) for research partnerships.

4. Encryption & storage

All session data is encrypted with AES-256 on your device using a key only you hold. Our servers store ciphertext only. We cannot decrypt your conversations.

5. Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share data only with subprocessors bound by strict confidentiality agreements (e.g., cloud hosting) and only in encrypted form where possible.

6. Your rights

You may export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Data & Storage. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
